漁業(yè)環(huán)境保護研究室成立于建所初期，現(xiàn)有在編職工8人，博士學(xué)歷6人，其中高級職稱4人，中級職稱6人，碩士生導(dǎo)師3人。研究室配備較完善的化學(xué)檢測和生物檢測設(shè)備，包括氣相色譜、流動注射分析儀、原子熒光分光光度計、原子吸收分光光度計、蔡司光學(xué)倒置顯微鏡等大型儀器。研究室依托農(nóng)業(yè)農(nóng)村部珠江流域漁業(yè)生態(tài)環(huán)境監(jiān)測中心，立足珠江流域，開展了持續(xù)性、系統(tǒng)性監(jiān)測、調(diào)查和研究工作，包括漁業(yè)環(huán)境監(jiān)測與質(zhì)量評價，尤其是重金屬、持久性有機污染物遷移轉(zhuǎn)化與風(fēng)險評估及生態(tài)毒理研究；浮游植物、浮游動物、水生植物及大型底棲動物生態(tài)功能研究等，為珠江流域漁業(yè)生態(tài)環(huán)境保護和可持續(xù)發(fā)展提供科學(xué)支撐，并取得一系列成果。
